Snapshots
Snapshots capture your full site state — files and database — so you can roll back to any point in time.
Creating a Snapshot
Section titled “Creating a Snapshot”- Open a site from the sidebar
- Click “Snapshots” in the site detail view
- Click “Create Snapshot”
- Enter a name for the snapshot (e.g., “Before plugin update”)
- Optionally toggle “Include WordPress core files” — disable this to save space if you only need your content and database
- Click “Create”
Restoring a Snapshot
Section titled “Restoring a Snapshot”- Open the Snapshots panel for your site
- Find the snapshot you want to restore
- Click “Restore”
- Confirm the restore — this will replace your current site files and database
The site must be stopped before restoring a snapshot.
Managing Snapshots
Section titled “Managing Snapshots”- Delete individual snapshots you no longer need
- Batch delete multiple snapshots at once
- Save as Template — convert a snapshot into a reusable template for creating new sites (see Templates)
